Here at Capers, we believe that the finest ingredients are essential for the best meal. All of our featured entrees, appetizers sauces, and dressings are made with carefully selected ingredients. Our homemade receipts are unique to Capers, made by Owner Steve Dudley or one of our chefs.

OUR HISTORY

Capers Restaurant and Bar

Capers on Main opened its doors on March 17, 2004, in a small house in historic downtown Kennesaw. Capers’ primary goal was to provide downtown Kennesaw and surrounding neighborhoods with great food, service, and an intimate atmosphere.

Kennesaw was in need of a restaurant that could give diners a Buckhead/Midtown experience, but in their own backyards. This is where the idea of Capers was born. With a deck and small indoor seating area we set out to bring customers from Acworth, Kennesaw, and Marietta together for great food and drink.

Our menu can be classified as New American and includes salads, pastas, steak, and seafood. Capers’ uses the freshest ingredients, including meat, seafood, and produce. We also try to buy locally produced and sustainable products whenever possible, in order to minimize our carbon footprint. Also, the chef recently started growing his own garden to help ensure that some of his fruits and vegetables are the freshest possible.

Having been successful in the small space in downtown Kennesaw, we were bursting at the seams and needed more space to accommodate our guests. This is what led to our move to the new location off of Barrett Parkway.

  • Capers Appetizers are called Pass Arounds because they can be shared by multiple guests at a table.

  • Entrée salads are meant to either be a meal or shared. We Serve only romaine lettuce or mixed field greens

MENU SPECIAL    TUESDAY

Hawaiian Ribeye – Certified Angus Beef Grilled to order with soy sauce, brown sugar, pineapple juice and orange juice. A house favorite.

MENU SPECIAL THURSDAY

Crispy Brick Duck – Duck Breast Medallions with rosemary and covered with a raisin glaze.
